Apple Crisp

Tonight for dinner we had apple crisp.  It was mighty tasty.  We even took a picture so you could all enjoy.  I adapted it from a allrecipies recipe.  Don't worry we had leaves, too.  It's not like we would just have apple crisp.

1 quart jar bottled apple slices (Thanks, Kelly)
~1/2 cup sugar
some nutmeg
lots of cinnamon
   - Mix these together and put in 9x13 pan

1 cup flour
1 cup oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup butter
   - Mix these together and put on top.

Bake at 350 until it's bubbly and brown.

  1. I made this for the dinner I took to the family with the new baby. I just have to say it would probably have been better if "lots" had been a little more defined. Mine ended up with quite a cinnamon-y kick and after-taste.
